Turbidity in the Eastern House

The eastern homes turbidity is calculated every ten minutes, this chart is updated every ten minutes. Turbidity in the Healthy House is a rough guage of water quality. It is not proof of high quality water, however process upsets and changes can be tracked using it. It is one of the few basic water quality elements that cna be implimented automatically. The turbidimeter employed is a HACH 1720d process turbidimeter.

This chart is for the last forty five days.

The potable system is capable of producing approximately double or triple usual water use. It is operated intermittantly to satisfy demand, when it starts up spikes occur.

Since August 2002, the reclaimed water system has been under renovation to integrate a new aerobic filter design (replacing the Waterloo biofilter), during that time polishing filtration was taken off line and returned gradually. While this has been going on there have been turbidity spikes.
